Language Barrier

ABOUT THE TOPIC:
A world with few problems, where societies live in peace, remains a dream waiting to be realized. Today, the rapidly increasing wave of migration due to many reasons such as war, unemployment, poverty, education and political factors has brought about great problems. People who migrate to many different countries from Ukraine and the Middle East have problems such as not being able to integrate into the country they are migrating to due to cultural differences, not being able to express themselves adequately due to language differences, but they also have to struggle with serious problems in issues such as health and social areas. If intercultural communication skills cannot be developed and steps are not taken to break this language barrier, there will be no understanding and agreement between the countries.
As a result, intercultural communication is a process consisting of many components. This communication is structured by the verbal and non-verbal aspects of communication. Nonverbal communication, written communication, or body language form an important part of communication. In this context, the main topic of this project is to minimize the language barriers arising from intercultural differences and to increase the ability of participants from different backgrounds and cultures to communicate well.
Project's Objectives:
1. To raise awareness of participants and local people on the importance of language barriers in intercultural interaction
2. To provide young people with the ability to use language effectively in intercultural communication.
3. Increase cooperation and communication between youth institutions and young people in Europe
4. To develop intercultural learning by promoting tolerance and cooperation towards different cultures in young people.
