ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Presentation of the hosting organization: “Have a Dream” is a social organization launched in 2014 by a group of young Egyptians inspired by the rich experiences they had during their travels and dreaming of giving young people around the world the chance to come out of their comfort zone and also be introduced to different cultures. They organize cultural opportunities, volunteering and trainings to give young people the chance to travel and volunteer, share experiences with others and learn new skills to help young people improve and rediscover themselves.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Accommodation: You'll share the apartment with other volunteers. Everyone will have their own room with shared kitchen, bathroom and living room. It will either be next to our office or 15 minutes maximum by bus/metro. Electricity, Wi-Fi, water and gas will be covered by the host organization. Food and transport: You will receive €100 per month which covers the price of transport and food, Pocket money: You will receive €90 in pocket money monthly for you. Travel costs: they will be refunded
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
Volunteers will have the opportunity to work in 3 areas of service: 1- Video production, photography and marketing, 2- Assistance with the tasks of the association's project manager: assistance during the implementation of youth exchanges, applications for Erasmus+ or other programs and communication with new partnerships. 3- Support for events-related actions: preparation and implementation of Have a Dream events and ceremonies.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
– You are between 18 and 30 years old; – You are motivated to travel, to share and live an intercultural experience – If you are creative – You have never participated in an Long tem ESC project. – Bonus if you have skills in photography and social media management
